There and Back Again

It’s been awhile since we updated our blog! We finished the work in Malawi and are currently back in the States to debrief our elders on the ministry there before going on to Kenya. Our original plan was to go straight from Malawi to Kenya, but this time back home is allowing us to spend the holidays with our family and friends, for which we are so thankful.

Thank you so much for your continued support through giving and prayers on our behalf! We hope you had a wonderful time of Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a blessed Christmas.

Being Young In Ministry

“‘Let days speak and many years teach wisdom.’ But it is the spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that makes him understand. It is not the old who are wise, nor the aged who understand what is right.” (Job 32:7-9)

“Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.” (Psalm 146:3-4)

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)

First Week

We’ve decided to start a new, photo-centric category on the blog! In addition to our Updates, Life & Ministry, and Devotional posts, we’re starting something called This Week In Photos. At this point, we’ve been living in Lilongwe, Malawi for about one week. With these first pictures, we just wanted to show you our environment here: weather, food, living, etc. (We’ll dedicate a future post to the seminary and church.) Scroll through to the bottom of this page to see our current prayer requests.
